Jeff Kilstein, Psy.D

Dr. Jeff Kilstein is a licensed psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, trauma, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, and life stress. His work is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches that help clients develop practical, strengths-based strategies for meaningful and lasting change. He brings a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental style, often incorporating gentle humor to create a comfortable and engaging therapeutic experience.

Dr. Kilstein earned his doctorate from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He has trained and worked in hospitals, schools, and community settings throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. His clinical specialties include working with children and teens facing social, emotional, and academic challenges, adults managing anxiety, stress, ADHD, and life transitions, and professionals seeking to improve balance, communication, and overall well-being. He is passionate about helping clients build on their strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their lives.

Ed Milton, LMSW

Ed Milton is a licensed social worker with more than 25 years of experience helping adolescents, college and graduate students, young professionals, and adults navigate personal, academic, and professional challenges. He takes a practical, solution-focused approach that combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with strengths-based strategies to help clients manage stress, develop effective coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build healthier relationships.

Ed’s clinical specialties include supporting adolescents as they develop confidence, independence, and social-emotional skills; helping students manage academic pressures and life transitions; and working with young professionals and adults as they navigate relationships, responsibilities, and changing roles. He brings an energetic, supportive, and approachable style that helps clients feel comfortable while working toward meaningful goals.

Ed earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Throughout his career, he has been committed to helping clients identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop practical tools to create lasting change.

Talia Zarbiv, Psy.D

Dr. Talia Zarbiv is a licensed clinical psychologist in New York and Connecticut who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. She creates a supportive and thoughtful space where clients can better understand themselves, develop healthier patterns, and make meaningful changes in their daily lives. Her approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based strategies tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Dr. Zarbiv’s clinical specialties include supporting students and professionals managing high expectations, academic and workplace stress, and challenges with balance and communication. She also has specialized experience working with new parents and perinatal women as they navigate the emotional, relational, and identity changes that accompany parenthood.

Dr. Zarbiv has trained across diverse clinical settings, including Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital, Jacobi Hospital, and Lincoln Hospital, with experience providing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care. She earned her Psy.D. and M.S.Ed. from Pace University and her B.A. in Psychology from Rutgers University.

Kara Ford-Heyliger, Ed.D

Dr. Kara Ford‑Heyliger is a certified school psychologist with nearly 15 years of professional experience in the field. She conducts comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of how brain processes shape learning, attention, memory, and academic development. She brings a careful, compassionate presence and explains complex information in a way that feels accessible and meaningful to individuals and families. She specializes in identifying each client's strengths and areas of need, and her philosophy centers on providing evaluations that help individuals feel understood, while giving caregivers and educators clear, practical insights they can confidently use to support growth.

Dr. Ford‑Heyliger earned her Master’s degree in School Psychology from Iona College and her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from Northeastern University. She also holds a Diplomate in School Neuropsychology credential from the American Board of School Neuropsychology (ABSNP). She has extensive experience evaluating students with learning differences, attention and executive‑function challenges, autism spectrum profiles, and social‑emotional or behavioral concerns. Her goal is to ensure that every assessment provides meaningful, actionable information that helps individuals thrive in their educational environments.

Roni Zarbiv, LCSW

Roni Zarbiv is a licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. He takes an integrative, cognitive-behavioral approach that helps clients develop practical strategies for managing emotions, improving daily functioning, and building healthier relationships. Roni brings an engaging, supportive, and collaborative style to therapy, creating an environment where clients feel understood, motivated, and empowered to make meaningful change.

Roni’s clinical specialties include anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, anger management, stress reduction, self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and substance use recovery. He also has extensive experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental and intellectual disabilities, as well as their families. His work in this area focuses on strengthening emotional regulation, social skills, independence, daily living abilities, and the transition toward greater autonomy.

Roni earned his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Throughout his career, he has been committed to helping clients build on their strengths, overcome challenges, and develop the skills needed to thrive in their everyday lives.
